OUR STORY
The Wine Growing Characters (WGC) is a collaboration of five young individual winemaking families from Austria.
Each of us represents a region and the grape varieties within each region. Together we present the beautiful diversity of Austrian wine in a collective – and send our multiple award-winning wines into the whole world.
OUR STORY
Our soils are the foundation of our wines and, most importantly, they characterize their taste. On granite, loess, clay, sand and prehistoric rock, we cultivate our vines
by hand. Cool climate, autochthone varieties, careful cultivation, precious terroir and long-standing single vineyards full of tradition make each wine growing character unique, but equal.
